See what families have to say about College Mentors:

So pleased with Diana. We got lucky and talked to Diana at a College Fair and decided to do an intro consultation. We did not look any further. Our son was accepted to 95% of all the colleges he applied to. Diana listened to what he wanted and was able to guide him to choices he never would have considered. She worked with the application, essays, brag sheets and sports. She knows about the various sports divisions and really helped us navigate through the many, many details! Private schools scared us with their price tag but her knowledge of merit aid awards and 4 year finishers were spot on and we are thrilled with our son’s choice. Meet with her, she is the best!!!!!

I wish you much joy, happiness, laughter and love in the New Year. My best gift to you will be client references, which I am happy to give...anyone who asks, I will tell them about how wonderful you are.
May your practice continue to thrive and prosper...you have a gift in working with these college bound students and I wish you well!
I highly recommend Diana.  She is so knowledgeable about college choices, financial aid, the FAFSA, etc.  She even knew about colleges that offer my daughter's not-very-well-known sport!  She is very thorough and concise and provides fantastic information that I don't know how we could have gotten otherwise.  Most of all, it is obvious that she really cares.  Thank you, Diana!  We are so grateful for your expert help!

Our son got into his top choice, Berkeley, and is thrilled. He got into many other schools, too — and got some great scholarship offers (e.g., BU, George Washington, Santa Clara - Leaders Program with only 68 students accepted, among others...). But Berkeley was his first choice, second choice, third choice.... Thanks for your role in providing guidance, a sounding board and advice!

We’ve been proud to tell others about you. Some friends are still in “stun” mode, not realizing the challenge and demands of the process about to fall upon their head. My guess is that you may experience a surge in your popularity as the summer winds down and the application process kicks up! All the best and again, our thanks….
If anyone needs help with the college process, we are working with Diana Hanson from College Mentors; she is absolutely wonderful and a wealth of knowledge! She does private meetings and/or small groups and is very reasonable. I actually feel like I can breathe, thanks to Diana, and I highly recommend her!

We talked to at least five college advisers, but decided to hire Diana to guide our son on his path to applying for college. From the first session we knew we made a great decision. Diana is patient, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. She was invaluable in the process of figuring out which colleges to apply to and what would be the top choice school. Our son was accepted to his top school (recommended by Diana, of course) and he is a happy freshman there. Diana was and is always available to help with the financial part of attending college. She even helped me with the 2016/17 FAFSA!!!! I highly recommend Diana to anyone that is looking for an excellent, intelligent and friendly college adviser.

Diana is truly an angel. She has a vast knowledge about both private and public colleges, as well as 2-year and 4 year options. Our son required more detailed assistance in applying to college due to his aspirations to play college baseball. Diana compiled a spread sheet with the options available, timeline for when applications where due, as well as what method of application ie. common application versus other. Also she reviewed my son’s personal statements and offered suggestions based on her writing background. She has a unique way of working with teenagers and is able to engage in dialogue in ways a parent cannot. She also assisted us in scholarships and financial services for colleges. We highly recommend her and her services! College applications are daunting enough. She is very reasonable and is also very flexible with her schedule.
